  • Ziv Eli - Big Jet Plane (Angus & Julia Stone)

Ziv Eli. This kid ROCKS. Check out his cover of Angus and Julia Stone's "Big Jet Plane." Honestly, I prefer Ziv's acoustic reimagination more than the original song. Angus & Julia Stone are an Austrailian brother-sister folk duo that hit it big(ish) in 2009 with their album Down the Way, with the single Big Jet Plane mixed by Kieran Kelly (Sufjan's producer). More Importantly, Ziv is an unsigned Acoustic Indie Rock original/cover artist from Tel Aviv, Israel. Most songs were recorded and edited at home and are awaiting professional production. Check out his Youtube Page for more awesome covers - I know I will be, BYCers.

  • Richie Castellano - Bohemian Rhapsody

Wow. This guy split-screens the crap out of Bohemian Rhapsody. He must have played those riffs 10,000 times. He uses some awesomely cheesy video production tricks, adding the right amount of DIY corniness to a viral cover video. Is he worthy of Queen's crown?

  • Semina & Eve V. - Best of You (Foo Fighters)

Semina and Eve are two fresh faces on the Youtube Cover scene. They've previously covered songs like Supermassive's "Black Hole", and this time around they're tackling the Foo Fighters' 2004 hit, "Best of You." (FYI, "Best of You" is the only Foo Fighters single to go Platinum in America). Semina's post-rock badassery voice is complemented well by Eve's harmonizing. What cha'll think? Do Semina & Eve get the best, the best, the best of You(Tube)?

  • Jonas Skold - Have You Ever Seen the Rain (Creedence Clearwater Revival)

You could never count Creedence Clearwater Revival out. Just when tension between its two most prolific members, brothers John and Tom Fogerty, seemed like it would lead the demise of the band, they would strike back at the charts with another top 25 hit. Yet their relative success in the mainstream did not keep them from becoming one of the most iconic and critically admired bands of the 60s and 70s. "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" was interpreted in many ways - some seeing it as a critique of the Vietnam war, others claiming that it was about the idealism of the 1960s fading with the advent of the 70s. Yet songwriter John Fogerty put these at rest when he declared the song was about his brother Tom leaving the group. Songwriter Jonas Sköld got in contact with BYC ...

  • Tori Kelly - Suit & Tie (Justin Timberlake)

A killer, a thriller. JT showed us ALL a few things at the Grammys, but Tori Kelly's reimagination of "Suit & Tie" brings new elements to the song. Her voice smooths over the JT comeback hit, and her acoustic guitar crafts it into a sound you can kick back and chill to. Tori Kelly is down in Austin right now, killing it at the Spotify Lounge at 4pm. If you're in town, check her out. If not, check out torikellymusic.com and catch her on her #FillAHeart tour. Tori - if you have an extra ticket to the rumored JT + Jay-Z Austin show, hook a BYC brother up!

  • Hannah Garland - Dreams (Fleetwood Mac)

To be honest, when listening to Fleetwood Mac's quintessential album "Rumours," I always kind of skipped over the second track, "Dreams." I know, heretical. I guess I always was more of a Lindsey Buckingham fan over Stevie Nicks. Hannah Garland might be changing my mind. I didn't know what to expect at first as a soft, unassuming voice notes the shitty karaoke music. The voice gradually builds confidence until bursting forth at 0:40 with the line "It's only right that you should play the way you feel it." If that's the way you feel it, Hannah, we here at BYC are fully supportive.

  • Jonas Sköld - Have You Ever Seen the Rain (Creedence Clearwater Revival)

You could never count Creedence Clearwater Revival out. Just when tension between its sting his playlist on our Google Plus page. This rendition manages to be cheerier than the original, but does not foresake its ominous underlying message. We here at Best Youtube Covers were impressed, and put it up. What do you BYCers think? Should you ever count Jonas Sköld out? We here at BYC will certainly be keeping an eye on him. P.S. Remember, if you are think you have a video of a great song cover and would like to submit it to BestYoutubeCovers, you can always post on our Google Plus Page!

  • Jayesslee - Try (Pink)

Janice and Sonia form the duo Jayseslee. Twin sisters born in Australia, they are fluent in Korean. They tackle Pinks 2012 hit, "Try", from the album The Truth About Love. With their cute dog Charlie to accompany them, does Jayesslee live up to the BYC talent?
